Popular Tokyo hotel to offer My Hero Academia themed rooms for a limited time

The Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu has announced a comprehensive collaboration event with the popular anime franchise My Hero Academia that is set to transform the venue into a celebration of heroism early next year.
The event is titled “HOTEL PLUS ULTRA” and focuses on the theme of experiencing the growth trajectory of the characters by incorporating visual elements and storytelling into every aspect of the guest experience.

The collaboration features themed accommodation plans alongside exclusive dining options at three of the hotel’s restaurants.


Guests can book one of two types of concept rooms including the “Final Battle Room” and the “U.A. High School Class 1-A Room” which are both decorated with character visuals and motifs.


Staying in these rooms or booking a standard room plan with benefits grants guests a set of original goods that includes a tote bag, acrylic block, visual board, pin badge, document file, and greeting card.

The hotel’s dining venues will also offer menus inspired by the series’ characters and key narrative arcs, ranging from casual cafe plates to full French course meals.

Includes Shota Aizawa’s Squid Ink Risotto (Jan 15 – Feb 22), Endeavor’s Tomato Bolognese (Feb 23 – Mar 22), and Hawks’ Nasi Goreng (Mar 23 – Apr 30).


For each menu item ordered customers will receive one original paper coaster (selected from 8 types in total).

- Price: 1,600 yen


Non-alcoholic options include Izuku’s Passion Drink, Bakugo’s Blast Orange, Todoroki’s Berry Yogurt, Eraser Head’s Black Cola Mojito, Endeavor’s Hojicha Latte, and Hawks’ Yuzu Ginger Lemon.




- My Hero Academia SWEETS BOX (Estacion Cafe – Takeout)
- Price: 6,000 yen

A two-tier box filled with cakes and pastries inspired by the series’ world, limited to 10 units per day.


For each order customers will receive an original acrylic coaster.

- “À bientôt course -Plus Ultra!!-“ (French Restaurant A Bientot)
- Price: 8,200 yen

A full course featuring marinated seafood inspired by U.A. High School, Villain themed onion dark soup, a Dark Deku stewed beef dish, and a “Final Battle” dessert selection.



When ordering the collaboration course, customers will receive an original acrylic place card.

- “U.A. High” Memorial Shunsai Bento (Japanese Restaurant Shunsai)
- Price: 5,850 yen

A multi-tiered lunch box with dishes named after key story arcs like the Sports Festival and Cultural Festival, including a dessert tier.



As an exclusive benefit, with every collaboration bento ordered, customers will receive a set of original acrylic chopstick rests (3 types).

- Japanese Style Character Drinks (Shunsai)
- Price: 1,500 yen

Options include Izuku’s Muscat & Berry, Bakugo’s Passion Fruit Soda, and Todoroki’s Blue Hawaii Calpis, each drink ordered will come with a special character card.
Guests staying at the hotel have the exclusive option to purchase a Foil Stamped Card Key Replica Set for 2,500 yen (approx. $17.00 USD / £13.50 GBP) which features six keys with character art.

Additionally, those dining at the cafe can purchase select merchandise including acrylic figure stands of the six main characters for 1,870 yen each and a hotel guide sticker set for 1,100 yen.

The collaboration will run from the 15th of January to the 30th of April, 2026.
The concept room plan is priced from 61,700 yen (approx. $420.00 USD / £330.00 GBP) for single occupancy, whilst a standard room plan (non-concept room) that includes the exclusive merchandise benefits such as a tote bag and acrylic block starts at 58,700 yen (approx. $400.00 USD / £315.00 GBP).
Reservations for accommodation began on the 18th of December, via the official collaboration website, whilst restaurant bookings will open on Monday, the 22nd of December at 12:00.
