Popular ramen chain Ippudo announces Hatsune Miku collab with limited edition menu and merch

A major collaboration has been announced between the world-famous ramen brand Hakata Ippudo and the virtual singer Hatsune Miku.
The new partnership is being held to celebrate the recent 40th anniversary of Ippudo’s founding, which took place on October 16th, 2025.

The event is titled the “39+1 Collaboration Campaign,” a clever play on words that combines Hatsune Miku’s signature number “39” (mi-ku) with Ippudo’s “1” to equal “40”.

The campaign will feature two new, original collaboration ramen dishes, as well as a lineup of exclusive merchandise, all based on new artwork created for the collaboration.

The main visual, illustrated by Tam-U, features Hatsune Miku in two different outfits: a traditional, ramen-themed kimono and an Ippudo staff uniform.

A second set of “deformed” illustrations by artist Osaka Rei has also been revealed, which shows all the Piapro Characters working in the ramen shop.

The two new ramen dishes that will join the Ippudo menu are:
- Collaboration Ramen “Blue”

A gorgeous bowl of ramen with a striking, blue-green tonkotsu broth, inspired by Miku’s theme color.

It is topped with two thick slices of chashu, green onions, a pink-dyed egg, and a printed nori.
It also comes with a side of Baby Star Ramen and sugar sprinkles to be added for a unique textural accent.
- Collaboration Ramen “White”

A visually beautiful bowl of Ippudo’s classic, mellow tonkotsu soup with special yellow noodles.
This dish is topped with three slices of low-temperature-cooked “shio-koji” chashu, a soft-boiled egg, and a printed nori.
Customers who order a bowl of either collaboration ramen will receive one of eight possible random, exclusive coasters as a gift.

In addition to the themed menu, a line of original merchandise will be sold at select Ippudo stores, including acrylic stands and can badge sets.

A post-event, made-to-order online sale is also planned, which will feature tapestries, mini acrylic stands of all the Piapro Characters, and an official ramen bowl.

Two social media campaigns will also be held on the official Ippudo X account, giving fans a chance to win exclusive merchandise.
The “Hakata Ippudo x Hatsune Miku” collaboration is scheduled to begin on Saturday, the 1st of November.

The collaboration ramen and in-store merchandise will be available at Ippudo locations nationwide (some stores excluded) on that date.
A full list of participating stores is available on the official collaboration website.
