Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 ‘Broken Things’ Confirmed for February 18 Launch

Mob Entertainment has officially announced the launch date for the highly anticipated survival horror game, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5.
The game, which carries the subtitle “Broken Things,” will release on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on February 18, 2026.

Console players hoping to experience the newest terrors on platforms like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch will have to wait, as the console release is scheduled to follow “in the months ahead.”
This latest installment serves as premium downloadable content for the free-to-play base game.

It continues the saga where players are thrust further into the factory’s horrifying environment, following Chapter 4, which saw its PC launch in January 2025.
In Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, players are tasked with facing off against the deadly puppetmaster behind the horrifying events of Playtime Co.

The protagonist is propelled further into the gruesome depths of the factory, with Playtime’s security system Huggy Wuggy in hot pursuit.
Abandoned by their only allies, the fight for survival becomes significantly more challenging as they race into the abyss of “His domain.”

The chapter introduces stomach-churning terrors in a new section of the factory, where players must uncover the dark works hidden within The Prototype’s stomping grounds.
In this chilling new layer of the Playtime facility, players will encounter tortured denizens living in the darkness.

While these entities may offer aid in the quest to defeat The Prototype, their trustworthiness remains a critical question.
Players will solve devious puzzles and overcome dangerous environmental obstacles with the power of new GrabPack tools and functionality.

As the journey nears the true rotten heart at the center of Playtime, the company’s gravest sins will be revealed.
The expanded franchise continues to gain momentum, as Mob Entertainment has also previously announced that a film adaptation is in the works with Legendary Entertainment and Angry Films.
