Pokémon’s Adorable New Loungewear Collab Collection Gets Official US Release
Image by James RichardsonThe third collaboration between Pokémon and Gelato Pique, which has led to the creation of a new collection of loungewear and accessories based on some of Pokémon’s most popular evolutionary lines, has officially been confirmed for a US release.
The range stars franchise mascot Pikachu and its evolutionary form Raichu, while Clefairy and Marill also join the collaboration with their own colors and matching accessories.
Gelato Pique is best known for soft loungewear created for relaxing and sleeping at home, with its fluffy “Gelato” and “Baby Moco” fabrics becoming closely associated with the Japanese brand.
Pokémon has already proved a natural fit for that style through two previous collaborations, making this third “Pokémon meets GELATO PIQUE” collection a return to a partnership that has previously leaned heavily into comfortable character-inspired sleepwear.
The women’s “Pokémon Baby Moco Jacquard Pullover & Long Pants Set,” priced at $176, comes in yellow Pikachu, pink Clefairy and blue Marill versions.
Each set uses large knitted character artwork across Gelato Pique’s soft Baby Moco fabric, turning the three Pokémon into comfortable roomwear without trying to recreate them as full costumes.
The men’s “Pokémon Baby Moco Jacquard Pullover & Long Pants Set,” priced at $186, switches to Raichu in camel and Clefable in gray, continuing the evolution theme into the larger sizing.
The unisex “Pokémon Baby Moco Jacquard Shawl Cardigan,” priced at $156, takes the evolution idea even further by placing complete Pokémon families across the back.
Its yellow version features Pichu, Pikachu and Raichu, the pink cardigan uses Cleffa, Clefairy and Clefable, and the blue version brings together Azurill, Marill and Azumarill.
The collection also includes a more playful series of Gelato knit sets that allow fans to dress much more directly like the Pokémon themselves.
The “Pokémon Gelato Pikachu Parka & Shorts Set,” “Pokémon Gelato Clefairy Parka & Shorts Set” and “Pokémon Gelato Marill Parka & Shorts Set” are each priced at $186.
These use three-dimensional ears and other character details across yellow, pink and blue designs, with the Pikachu version specifically recreating a female Pikachu through the heart-shaped end of its tail.
Clefairy’s wings and Marill’s tail are similarly incorporated into the back of their respective outfits, giving each set recognizable character features without relying solely on printed artwork.
The men’s “Pokémon Gelato Raichu Parka & Half Pants Set,” priced at $193, continues the progression from Pikachu with an orange Raichu design.
The collaboration also moves beyond clothing with four unisex Gelato hairbands based on Pikachu, Raichu, Clefairy and Marill, each priced $42 and recreating the Pokémon’s ears in soft three-dimensional form.
Additional accessories include the “Pokémon Hair Claw Clip” at $48 and an all-over print pouch priced at $49, each offered in yellow, pink and blue variations.
The third “Pokémon meets GELATO PIQUE” collection is now available to order, whilst stocks last, via the official Gelato Pique US online store.
