Pokémon launches new “OTENKI TEAM” merch line based on weather abilities

The Pokémon Company has announced a new line of merchandise that puts the spotlight on Pokémon associated with weather conditions and abilities.
These unique items, released under the new “OTENKI TEAM” brand, are set to go on sale in early June.

The Pokémon franchise frequently features creatures with abilities and characteristics tied to various weather phenomena, influencing battles and the in-game environment.

This new merchandise collection celebrates these Pokémon, offering fans a range of practical and decorative items perfect for the upcoming seasons.
The “OTENKI TEAM” collection includes a variety of items that creatively integrate weather-affecting Pokémon – let’s take a look at all of the items announced so far:

- Umbrellas, including a vinyl umbrella themed around the ability “Drizzle” at ¥3,520 (tax included), and a sun-and-rain folding umbrella featuring Groudon and Charizard at ¥4,620 (tax included).

The collection also includes decorative items suitable for display:
- Field-equipped mascots for Kyogre (“Drizzle”), Groudon (“Drought”), Glaceon (“Snow Cloak”), and Tyranitar (“Sand Stream”).
- These mascots contain magnets, allowing them to be detached from their themed fields. Each is ¥2,530 (tax included).
