Pokémon and GU Reveal Huge New Outdoor-Inspired Fall Fashion Collection

Japanese fashion retailer GU has announced another collaboration with Pokémon that will see a new outdoor-inspired clothing collection released this fall.

The latest range imagines the lifestyle of a Trainer living alongside Pokémon in the forest, combining natural colors and outdoor clothing details with appearances from characters including Pikachu, Eevee, Mew, Gengar, Charizard, Snorlax, Slowpoke and Dragonite.

Pokémon references across the collection are mostly kept relatively subtle, with silhouettes appearing on woven labels and Poké Ball-inspired zipper pulls incorporated into several pieces rather than relying entirely on large character graphics.

The collection follows GU’s previous Pokémon release from May 2026, which took inspiration from summer trips to the ocean and featured Pokémon including Pikachu, Lapras, Squirtle, Vaporeon and Greninja across clothing for adults and children.

This time the range consists of six unisex styles and two children’s styles, with many available in multiple colors that feature completely different Pokémon.

• “Full-Zip Knit Jacket Pokémon” – ¥4,990 (approx. $32 USD / £24 GBP)

Available in Navy featuring Pikachu and an Electric-type icon or Brown featuring Eevee and a Poké Ball, with both versions also using a Poké Ball-inspired zipper pull.

• “Half-Zip Fleece Pullover Pokémon” – ¥2,990 (approx. $19 USD / £14 GBP)

Available in Light Gray with Mew, Red with Charizard or Navy with Gengar, with each version featuring a different Pokémon on its woven chest label and a Poké Ball-inspired zipper pull.

• “Fleece Full-Zip Parka Pokémon” – ¥3,990 (approx. $26 USD / £19 GBP)

Available in Black or Green, with both versions incorporating a Pikachu silhouette, outdoor-inspired colors and a Poké Ball-inspired zipper pull.

• “Sweat Pullover Pokémon” – ¥2,990 (approx. $19 USD / £14 GBP)

The Light Gray version features silhouettes of Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, while the Black version uses Pikachu with an outdoor-inspired color treatment.

• “Graphic T Pokémon” – ¥1,490 (approx. $10 USD / £7 GBP)

Available in White featuring Dragonite or Blue with a selection of Flying-type Pokémon.

• “Sweat Lounge Set Pokémon” – ¥3,990 (approx. $26 USD / £19 GBP)

Available in Gray with Slowpoke, Dark Green with Pikachu or Navy with Snorlax, with each design using small embroidered details and paracord-style waist drawstrings.

The children’s collection continues the same forest theme while introducing several Pokémon not found across the adult range.

Gray features Pokémon Legends: Z-A partners Chikorita, Tepig and Totodile, Black uses Pikachu, Brown brings together Eevee and its Evolutions, while Blue follows Froakie through Frogadier to Greninja.

• “KIDS Cotton Sweat Lounge Set Pokémon” – ¥1,990 (approx. $13 USD / £9 GBP)

Available in Natural with Pikachu, Dark Gray with Meowth or Brown with Eevee.

The new Pokémon x GU collection is scheduled to launch in Japan on October 23, 2026, with online sales beginning at 7:15 AM JST through GU’s official store alongside availability at physical GU stores across the country.
