Palworld to leave early access in 2026 as window set for full “Version 1.0” launch

A new video has been released by the developer Pocketpair, which outlines the future development plans for its massively popular monster-taming and survival game, Palworld.
In the new video, the company’s Communications Director, Bucky, explained that the full, official “Version 1.0” of the game is a major milestone for the development team.

This final version is now officially scheduled for release in the year 2026.
Bucky also stated that a “very large-scale” and unprecedented amount of new content is being planned for this full release.

In addition to this long-term plan, it was also teased that there are still “multiple surprises” in store for players for the remainder of the current year, 2025.
The developer also expressed their sincere gratitude to the fans who have continued to support the game through its early access period.

They stated, “Your support is the greatest force driving our development forward. We will continue to do our best to deliver the best possible game experience while communicating more openly with all of you.”
To coincide with this new announcement, a limited-time sale for the game has begun on the Steam platform.

The early access version of Palworld is currently available for a 25 percent discount, reducing the price of the game from ¥3,400 to ¥2,550.
The new development roadmap was announced today, Tuesday, the 16th of September, 2025.

The Steam sale is scheduled to run until 2:00 AM on Tuesday, the 23rd of September, Japan Standard Time.
