Orders set to open for exclusive new “Aurora Pink” and “Prism White” Tamagotchi Uni
Two new and exclusive colorways have been announced for the “Tamagotchi Uni,” the latest generation of the iconic virtual pet from Bandai.
The “Tamagotchi Uni” is the first-ever model in the long-running series to be equipped with Wi-Fi.
This feature allows it to connect to the “Tamaverse,” a global metaverse for Tamagotchis, where users from around the world can meet and interact.
The two new, exclusive colors are “Aurora Pink” and “Prism White.”
The “Aurora Pink” model features a sweet-toned design that combines a pearlescent pink with a clear pink.
The “Prism White” model has a stylish design that features a glittery white and a clear blue, accented with a rainbow gradation.
In addition to the new colors, a new collaboration has also been announced for the “Tamagotchi Uni.”
The new partnership will be with the popular, girly rabbit character, “Esther Bunny.”
The collaboration will be a new “Tamaverse Ticket,” a piece of downloadable content that will allow users to raise the bunny characters and enjoy their world within the Tamagotchi Uni.
Further details regarding the “Esther Bunny” collaboration will be announced at a later date.
The new “Tamagotchi Uni” designs are Premium Bandai exclusives and will be available for a limited, made-to-order pre-sale, with pricing set at ¥8,250.
Pre-orders for the new models are scheduled to open on the Premium Bandai online store on Friday, the 10th of October, at 1:00 PM Japan Standard Time.
The reservation period is scheduled to run until the 30th of November, and the new colors are scheduled to be shipped to customers in December 2025.
