Orders open for huge new Berserk statue featuring the battle between Guts and Grunbeld
Pre-orders have officially opened for an enormous new statue from Prime 1 Studio, capturing one of the most ferocious battles from the dark fantasy epic, Berserk.
The new “Ultimate Diorama Masterline Guts VS Grunbeld (Apostle Form)” immortalizes the deadly duel from Volume 27 of the manga, set within the burning Spiritual Tree forest.
Berserk, the legendary manga by Kentaro Miura, is famous for its dark world, complex characters, and brutal, supernatural combat.
This statue recreates the moment Guts, clad in the cursed Berserker Armor, confronts the “Fire Dragon” Apostle Grunbeld in his true form.
The diorama is inspired by the iconic two-page spread of their confrontation but has been imaginatively expanded into a full 3D scene.
The entire non-scale piece is massive, measuring 58 centimeters tall, 81 centimeters wide, and 99 centimeters deep, with a staggering weight of approximately 58.5 kilograms.
The giant figure of Grunbeld is built with a rugged, textured skin and clear red parts that resemble crystal, giving him a heated, fortress-like appearance.
Facing him, the figure of Guts is crafted with incredible precision, including his flowing cape, the blood-smeared Dragon Slayer, and even the different light shining in each eye of the Berserker Armor.
The circular diorama base depicts the Spiritual Tree forest, complete with a felled Apostle and a destroyed Golem.
In addition to the sculpt, the statue uses built-in LED light-up features to illuminate both Grunbeld, living up to his “Fire Dragon” title, and the flames engulfing the forest.
A special “Patron Bonus” is also being offered.
Customers who purchase this statue and one other qualifying product from the official Prime 1 Studio website will receive a “Berserker Armor (Unworn)” display model, which measures approximately 14 centimeters tall.
The “Ultimate Diorama Masterline Guts VS Grunbeld (Apostle Form)” is priced at 379,390 yen (approx. $2,464.30 USD / £1,874.15 GBP).
Pre-orders opened on November 11 via the official Prime 1 Studio online store, and the statue is scheduled to ship between February 2027 and May 2027.
