Orders open for a new line of Cardcaptor Sakura inspired dress sneakers

Japanese fashion brand MAYLA has launched its tenth collaboration with the popular anime series Cardcaptor Sakura.
The new product line is a collection of “dress sneakers” inspired by the iconic outfits from the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card arc.

MAYLA is a brand known for creating elegant and ornate footwear, often in partnership with major anime and game franchises.
This new collection of shoes is designed to fuse the detailed decoration of Sakura’s costumes with the comfort of a sneaker, featuring a 6.5-centimeter heel for a stylish silhouette.

The lineup features four different designs, each based on a specific outfit from the Clear Card series and decorated with large ribbons, lace, and frills.

The four designs are as follows:
- Rocket Beat

Inspired by one of Sakura’s battle costumes.

- Academic Nocturne

Based on the Tomoeda Junior High school uniform.

- Clear

Inspired by the pink, layered “Clear” battle costume.

- Eternal Girly

Based on another of the elegant battle costumes.

Each pair of dress sneakers is a “4-way” design, meaning the included laces and accessories can be rearranged to create a variety of different looks to match the wearer’s mood or outfit.

The sneakers are crafted from a combination of PU enamel and lace, and are accented with satin and velvet ribbons.
This new collection offers fans a unique way to incorporate the magical world of the series into their daily fashion.

The “Cardcaptor Sakura Iconic Shoes Objet Dress Sneakers” are priced at ¥33,000 (approx. $225 USD/£166 GBP) per pair.
Pre-orders for the made-to-order collection began on Wednesday, the 27th of August, at 5:00 PM Japan Standard Time on the official MAYLA website.
The pre-order window is scheduled to remain open until the 29th of September, 2025.
