Orders Open as Azur Lane's Hindenburg Gets Stunning New Scale Figure

Kotobukiya has officially opened pre-orders for a new 1/7 scale figure of Hindenburg, transforming one of Azur Lane’s most popular Iron Blood characters into a premium statue.

Azur Lane is a popular side-scrolling mobile game that combines anthropomorphized warships inspired by real-world naval history with anime-style character designs, and has built a worldwide fanbase through its expanding roster of collectible characters and regular updates.

Hindenburg is a DR ship aligned with the Iron Blood faction and is known by the title “The Arch Devil of Sloth,” referring to the Commander as “Contract Binder” throughout the game.

Although she often appears lazy and uninterested, Hindenburg consistently completes her assignments with exceptional efficiency, creating the contrast in personality that has made her one of the game’s most recognizable fan-favorite characters.

Standing approximately 28 cm tall, this new statue from Kotobukiya presents Hindenburg in a composed pose, with her long crimson hair faithfully recreated from her original character artwork to give the figure an impressive sense of scale and presence.

Her predominantly black outfit has been finished using multiple paint tones to highlight the different materials throughout the design, from the rigid armor and horns to the softer folds around her clothing and skin.

Kotobukiya has also paid close attention to the intricate lace detailing, elaborate corset and the sheer appearance of the fabric around her thighs, while subtle sculpting throughout the figure emphasizes the natural softness of her exposed skin despite the costume’s extensive coverage.

Completing the display are Hindenburg’s striking crimson eyes, carefully recreated to capture the same commanding expression seen in the original game artwork.

The included display stand features a detachable support pillar, allowing collectors greater flexibility when displaying the figure.
