ONE PIECE BASE SHOP opens in Shinjuku this December with over 500 exclusive products
A new official flagship store for the globally popular One Piece franchise, titled the “ONE PIECE BASE SHOP,” will open in one of Tokyo’s most popular districts this winter.
The new store is a major project from four different companies within the Bandai Namco group, and it is designed to be an “experiential retail facility.”
This massive new location will occupy the entire fourth floor of the Shinjuku Marui Main Building in Tokyo, a space of approximately 1,185 square meters.
The blue-based interior of the store will be divided into multiple areas, each one designed to evoke the feeling of the various islands that the protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, has visited on his adventures.
The store will offer a huge range of merchandise that covers every aspect of the One Piece franchise, from the original manga to the anime and the live-action series.
Of the approximately 800 different items that will be available at launch, around 500 of them will be new, original products that can only be purchased at this location.
The store is designed to be a “new holy land” for all fans of the series, where they can embark on their own great adventure to find their favorite treasures.
Due to the high demand expected for the grand opening, entry to the store will initially be restricted.
A “pre-booking system,” which will be run via a lottery, will be in effect for the time being.
To enter the lottery, visitors will need to register for a “BASE CREW” account on the official “ONE PIECE BASE” app.
The “ONE PIECE BASE SHOP” is located on the 4th floor of the Shinjuku Marui Main Building in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
It is scheduled to have its grand opening on Friday, the 5th of December, 2025.
As part of the opening date announcement, a new promotional video showcasing the concept of the new store has also been released.
