One Piece anime reveals Kenjiro Tsuda as voice of Shanks’ twin, Saint Shamrock

In a new promotional video for the upcoming release of One Piece Volume 113, publisher Shueisha has officially revealed the voice actor for a major character.
Saint Shamrock, the twin brother of Red-Haired Shanks, will be voiced by veteran actor Kenjiro Tsuda.

One Piece, the best-selling manga series, follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his quest to become the King of the Pirates.

Saint Shamrock, who first appeared in Volume 90, is the leader of the God’s Knights, and his connection to Shanks makes him a figure of intense interest for fans.

Kenjiro Tsuda is a highly acclaimed voice actor, known for numerous iconic roles, including Sam Porter Bridges in the Japanese dub of Death Stranding.

This is a new, major role for Tsuda within the One Piece franchise, though he has previously voiced Vinsmoke Yonji and the character Gordon in One Piece Film Red.

The casting has been met with widespread praise on social media.
Fans have noted that Tsuda’s deep vocal texture and resonance are an excellent match for the character, particularly as the twin brother to Shanks, who is famously voiced by Shuichi Ikeda.

The promotional video was released on YouTube to commemorate the launch of One Piece Volume 113, which is scheduled to be released in Japan on Tuesday, November 4.
This casting news comes during a period of massive announcements for the One Piece franchise.
Other recent reveals include a new seasonal, 26-episode-per-year format for the TV anime, which will enter a brief hiatus before premiering the long-awaited “Elbaf Arc” in April 2026.

A release date for the second season of the live-action series has also been set for March 10, 2026.
