Official Tokyo Ghoul jewelry collection features Kaneki and Touka inspired pieces

Jewelry artisans KARATZ have announced a collaboration with the TV anime series Tokyo Ghoul to launch a special line of jewelry and merchandise.
The collection, commemorating the anime’s 10th anniversary, features designs inspired by the Kagune (predatory organs) of main characters Ken Kaneki and Touka Kirishima, alongside new original artwork.
Tokyo Ghoul, based on Sui Ishida’s manga, is a popular dark fantasy series known for its unique premise: humans coexist with “Ghouls” who can only survive by eating human flesh.

The series delves into themes of identity, morality, and survival, gaining a significant global following through its anime adaptations.
KARATZ, as a specialist in gemstones, brings its expertise to this collaboration by incorporating real gems and precious metals into designs that reflect the series’ distinct aesthetic.
KARATZ has previously released other jewelry based on popular anime series, with one popular recent collaboration featuring The Apothecary Diaries themed jewelry pieces based on Maomao and Jinshi.

The centerpiece of the Tokyo Ghoul collaboration is a collection of jewelry meticulously designed to incorporate the forms of Kaneki’s “Rinkaku” (Scale Kagune) and Touka’s “Ukaku” (Wing Kagune).
Kaneki’s Rinkaku-Inspired Ring & Pendant Top

This ring is designed with the motif of Kaneki’s Rinkaku, featuring a 2mm ruby set to mimic the location of a Kagune sac.

It’s versatile enough to be worn as a pendant by passing a chain through it.

The Kaneki themed jewelry is available in silver (¥19,800 tax included, approx. $137.02 USD/£100.98 GBP) and platinum (¥98,000 tax included, approx. $678.19 USD/£499.80 GBP), and in sizes S, M, and L.

The ruby, selected by gemologists, is described as having a “quietly eerie glow,” evoking the unsettling yet beautiful nature of the Kagune.

Touka’s Ukaku-Inspired Necklace

This necklace draws inspiration from Touka’s Ukaku.

It features a central part shaped like the Kagune released during long-range attacks, designed to subtly sway with movement. It also incorporates a 2mm ruby.

Available in silver (¥19,800 tax included, approx. $137.02 USD/£100.98 GBP) and platinum (¥98,000 tax included, approx. $678.19 USD/£499.80 GBP), the top measures approximately 14.6mm high x 17.3mm wide, with a chain length of 40-45cm (adjustable).
Both items come with a special commemorative jewelry case, embossed with the series’ title logo on the lid and the 10th-anniversary logo printed on the inside.

The jewelry is crafted using SILVER925 for silver options and Pt950 for platinum.
In addition to the jewelry, KARATZ is offering a range of merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations of Kaneki and Touka:
