New “Tales of” exhibition celebrates 30 years of the iconic JRPG series

A new, major exhibition has been announced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the long-running and beloved “Tales of” series of role-playing games.

The new event is titled the “TALES OF 30th MUSEUM.”

The “Tales of” series, which is published by Bandai Namco, is a fan-favorite franchise that has been running for three decades, renowned for its action-oriented combat and its character-driven stories.

This new exhibition will be a retrospective on the long and storied history of the series.

The main exhibition will feature a number of different highlights, including a display of life-sized panels of the series’ various protagonists and an “animation gallery.”

New, original, exclusive illustrations and a lineup of exclusive merchandise will also be released for the event.

The exhibition will be held in a unique, two-part format.

“Vol. 1” and “Vol. 2” of the exhibition will be held in two separate, consecutive periods, and the specific games from the series that are featured will be changed between the two halves of the event.

The “TALES OF 30th MUSEUM” will be held at a special, exhibition venue on the 6th and 7th floors of the Seibu Shibuya Movida building in Udagawacho, Shibuya, Tokyo.

“Vol. 1” of the exhibition is scheduled to run from Friday, the 28th of November, to Wednesday, the 17th of December, 2025.

“Vol. 2” is scheduled to run from Friday, the 19th of December, to Monday, the 12th of January, 2026.
