New prize figure turns Jujutsu Kaisen’s “Prison Realm” into a room light

A new prize item is set to be released by Bandai, which is a recreation of one of the most significant and infamous items from the popular anime series Jujutsu Kaisen.
The fully functioning room light is designed to look exactly like the Special Grade Cursed Object, the “Gokumonkyō,” or “Prison Realm.”

In the story of Jujutsu Kaisen, the Prison Realm is a powerful, ancient cursed object with the ability to seal any target into an inescapable pocket dimension.
It is most famous for being the object that was used to successfully seal away the world’s strongest sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, during the chaotic “Shibuya Incident” arc.

This new piece of merchandise is a faithful, three-dimensional replica of the creepy, cube-shaped cursed object.

The eyes on the outer surfaces of the cube light up, allowing it to be used as a room light, but it can also easily be used solely as a display piece for fans looking to add to their Jujutsu Kaisen figure collection.

The “Prison Realm” room light is approximately 12 centimeters in size, which is described as being about twice the actual size of the in-universe item.
As a “prize item,” this product will not be available for direct purchase at retail stores within Japan.

It will be exclusively available to be won in crane games and other arcade machines.
The “Jujutsu Kaisen – Prison Realm Room Light” is scheduled to begin its rollout in amusement facilities across Japan starting from Thursday, the 9th of October, 2025.
