Yūma Uchida commented on the new short, saying:

“I’m very happy to be able to play Yūgo! The story really resonated with me as someone who used to play the Pokémon games.”

“Through ‘Tomorrow With Gardevoir Too,’ I hope you can feel the strength and warmth of having a partner who stands by your side.”

Kana Hanazawa also shared her thoughts:

POKETOON SHORT 6

“This is a story about Yūgo, who is working hard at his job every day, and his Gardevoir, who has been with him since she was a Ralts.”

“Because they have deepened their bond as partners, the interactions they have now that Yūgo is an adult are so moving…”

“As someone who was obsessed with Pokémon when I was in elementary school, I performed this role while imagining how reliable it would have been to have a Gardevoir by my side. Please be sure to watch it!”

The new short was directed by Yoshihide Ibata and written by Yōsuke Suzuki, with character designs by Yutaka Araki and music by Aoi Ishigami.
