New One Piece arcade punching game will let fans beat up the series’ villains

A new arcade game project for the popular series One Piece was officially announced at the recent “ONE PIECE DAY ’25” event.
The new title, currently in development by Bandai Namco Experience, is called ONE PIECE DAWN STRIKE.

This new game is described as an “immersive pirate era punching game.”
The gameplay will allow players to physically fight against various powerful characters from the One Piece universe by throwing punches.

It has now been confirmed that a “location test” for the new game will be held.
The version of the game available during this test will allow players to challenge two of the series’ most formidable antagonists: the former Warlord of the Sea, Donquixote Doflamingo, and the former Emperor of the Sea, Kaido.

Location tests are a common practice in the Japanese arcade industry, where a new game is placed in a limited number of arcades for a short period to gather player feedback before a full, nationwide rollout.

The location test will be held at the namco Yokohama World Porters arcade in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.
The test period is scheduled to run from Friday, the 22nd of August, to Monday, the 1st of September, 2025.
