New life-sized plushies of some of Pokémon’s cutest Ice-types will keep you cool this summer

Pokémon is set to launch a new line of “Cool Plush Toys” based on Ice-type Pokémon.
Two of the four new plushies will be accurate to the Pokémon’s life-size dimensions, though they won’t be quite as large as the recently announced life-size Eeveelutions plushies, which have just released their third wave including Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon.

The Pokémon franchise is known for its extensive roster of creatures and merchandise is frequently released based on seasonal themes.

As summer is now underway in Japan, this new range of plush toys has been designed to incorporate a cooling fabric.
The new collection highlights four different Ice-type Pokémon, each crafted to capture its individual charm and appeal:
- Spheal

This plush features Spheal, a chubby Ice/Water-type Pokémon from the Hoenn region, known for its adorably round appearance.
- Life-size Vanillite

This adorable plush recreates the Ice-type Pokémon Vanillite, known for its ice cream cone-like appearance, in a life-sized form.
- Bergmite

This plush is of Bergmite, the Ice-type Pokémon introduced in the Kalos region, which resembles a chunk of ice.
- Life-size Snom

This life-size plush features Snom, an Ice/Bug-type Pokémon from the Galar region, known for its cute worm-like appearance covered in ice crystals.
All four plush toys are manufactured using a special cool-to-the-touch fabric, which provides a refreshing sensation, making them ideal companions during hot weather.

The decision to create life-sized versions of Vanillite and Snom was taken in part due to their inherent cuteness, but it also coincided that the planned size of the new plush toy range was actually in line with their game-accurate sizes.
The Pokémon “Cool Plush Toys” collection will go on sale at 10:00 AM JST on June 26th, 2025 at Pokémon Center stores and also through the Pokémon Center Online website.
Each plush will be priced at 4,950 yen (approx. $33.94 USD / £25.18 GBP).
