New hololive 2.5D fighting game will see Usada Pekora battle Houshou Marine

A new 2.5D fighting action game has been announced, based on the popular VTuber unit “hololive Fantasy.”
“hololive Fantasy Battle” is being developed by G-Blossom and will be released under the “holo Indie” brand, which is operated by Cover’s subsidiary, CCMC.
The game will star the four members of hololive’s 3rd generation: Houshou Marine, Shirogane Noel, Shiranui Flare, and Usada Pekora.

The story of the game follows the four VTubers as they battle for the “Queen’s Throne,” which will grant a single wish to whoever can claim it.

Players will be able to choose their “oshi” (favorite) and fight for victory, using unique weapons, skills, and stage-specific gimmicks.
The game’s art and design, from the title illustration to the in-game effects, are being handled by the artist Komainu, who is well-known for their work on the “Zinrui Toka Keikaku!” (Project STAR) music video.

The music will feature BGM arrangements of the theme song “REALITY FANTASY” by Kazuki Yanagawa, who is known for composing music for Arknights.

hololive Fantasy Battle will feature several different game modes.
This includes a main “Fantasy Battle” mode, which supports up to four players in both local and multiplayer, as well as a solo mode where the player must defeat 100 “gentle fans.”

During combat, players can grab an “Akasupa Weapon” (Red Super Weapon) to change their attacks, and they can also unleash an ultimate, tide-turning “Solo Live” move to dominate the stage.

It has also been confirmed that additional costumes for each of the four talents will be released as DLC.
hololive Fantasy Battle is scheduled to be released for the PC via Steam in the first half of 2026 and the price for the game has not yet been announced.
