New High-end One Piece Figure Immortalizes Shanks’ Divine Departure Attack

MegaHouse has announced the upcoming start of pre-orders for a high-end collector’s item depicting one of the Four Emperors from the One Piece series.
The new “One Piece Portrait.Of.Pirates SA-MAXIMUM – Red-Haired Pirates Chief Red-Haired Shanks Divine Departure” statue captures the pirate captain in a dynamic battle stance as he unleashes a devastating attack.

This release immortalizes the specific moment in the series where Shanks intercepts and defeats Eustass Kid using the “Divine Departure” (Kamusari) technique.

One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda, has captivated audiences for decades with its tale of the Great Pirate Era.

Shanks, known as Red-Haired Shanks, is a central figure in the story, serving as the inspiration for the protagonist Monkey D. Luffy and reigning as one of the Four Emperors of the Sea.

While he often plays a diplomatic or observer role, the recent arc showcased his overwhelming combat prowess during a confrontation off the coast of Elbaf.

Using the same technique once wielded by the Pirate King Gol D. Roger, Shanks demonstrated the gap in power between himself and the worst generation pirates, a scene that resonated heavily with the fanbase.

The figure is part of the Portrait.Of.Pirates “MAXIMUM” series, which acts as the flagship line for MegaHouse’s One Piece collectibles, renowned for its high quality and intricate detailing.

The sculpt perfectly captures the intensity of the battle and the painting utilizes multiple layers to create texture and depth, particularly on the clothing and the dynamic effect parts that surround Shanks.

The figure stands approximately 25 cm tall (with a head height of approximately 17 cm) and conveys a sense of motion as Shanks swings his sword, Gryphon.

The “One Piece Portrait.Of.Pirates SA-MAXIMUM – Red-Haired Pirates Chief Red-Haired Shanks: Divine Departure” statue is priced at 29,700 yen (approx. $200.00 USD / £158.00 GBP).

Pre-orders will open on Thursday, January 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
The figure will be available for reservation at major hobby goods retailers, such as HobbyLink Japan.
Shipping is currently scheduled for late August 2026.
