New Gundam GQuuuuuuX souvenir jackets are a must-have for mecha fans
The official Gundam-themed apparel brand STRICT-G has announced a new collaboration with the latest anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
The new release features two “sukajan,” or souvenir jackets, with intricate, dynamic embroidery on a glossy satin fabric.
Both jackets are fully reversible, offering two distinct styles in one.
This new collection brings the unique mecha and themes of the GQuuuuuuX series to the classic, high-end sukajan format.
The lineup includes two different models: “GQuuuuuuX” and “Red Gundam”.
Let’s take a look at both designs in detail!

- Price: ¥35,200 (approx. $238 USD / £190 GBP)
The main side of this jacket features a navy and silver color scheme.
The chest is embroidered with the “Pomeranians” clan mark, to which the protagonist Amate Yuzuriha (Machu) belongs.
The back features a large, complex embroidery of the GQuuuuuuX mobile suit.
The reverse side is a simpler design based on the jacket worn by Machu.

- Price: ¥35,200 (approx. $238 USD / £190 GBP)
The main side features a black and red color scheme, with the Principality of Zeon mark embroidered on the chest and a large embroidery of the Red Gundam on the back.
The reverse side features a color scheme inspired by the character Shuji, with simple text embroidery.
The new collection is being released in two phases.
An advance pre-order period for the jackets began on Friday, the 24th of October, on the “STRICT-G Online Store” within the Premium Bandai website.
A general, in-store release is scheduled to follow at the physical STRICT-G retail locations starting on Saturday, the 22nd of November.
