New DLC ‘The Backstage’ Announced for Little Nightmares III
Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Supermassive Games have officially announced “The Backstage,” a new downloadable content chapter for Little Nightmares III.
This upcoming content is scheduled to launch on June 12, 2026, as the first part of the “Secrets of The Spiral” expansion pass.
The adventure will transport players to the darkest depths of the Carnevale, a haunting setting where protagonists Low and Alone will encounter a new character named Dime.
Dime is described as a child who wears a torch hat, which serves as a vital tool for illuminating the path beneath the curtains of the Carnevale.
Together, the children must navigate new threats and use their light to rescue Alone from the clutches of a mysterious antagonist known as the Puppeteer.
Little Nightmares III is currently available on a wide range of platforms including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
The “Secrets of The Spiral” expansion pass is expected to include a total of two additional chapters, with the second installment tentatively planned for release later in 2026.
In addition to the narrative chapters, the expansion pass grants players access to the exclusive Ferryman Costumes Set.
