A new vinyl record release has been announced for the soundtrack of the classic 1994 Capcom fighting game, Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors.

The new record is being released by Mana Wave Media, a label that specializes in creating high-quality, creatively packaged video game soundtracks on vinyl.

Darkstalkers, known in Japan as Vampire, is a cult classic fighting game famous for its unique cast of characters based on classic gothic horror monsters, its groundbreaking gameplay mechanics like the “chain combo,” and its highly fluid, hand-drawn sprite animation.

This new vinyl release features a jacket and a box that use re-released artwork that was previously drawn by the legendary manga artist, Yusuke Murata, who is famous for his work on series like One-Punch Man and Eyeshield 21.

The release is available in two different editions.

A unique feature of this deluxe set is that the outer box has been specifically designed to be large enough to also house the future, planned vinyl releases for the other two games in the series, Vampire Hunter and Vampire Savior.

The Standard Edition is priced at $29.99 USD, and the deluxe Art Box Set is priced at $64.99 USD.

Pre-orders for the new vinyl are currently open on the official Mana Wave Media website.

The records are scheduled to be released in November 2025.
