Sunshine City Prince Hotel has officially announced a new collaboration event to celebrate the success of the theatrical release of Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc.

This immersive event will transform parts of the hotel into a sanctuary for fans, featuring both themed accommodation plans and a collaboration cafe.

The Reze Arc is a pivotal storyline in Tatsuki Fujimoto’s dark fantasy series, introducing the character Reze, also known as the Bomb Girl.

She is a hybrid who forms a complex and explosive relationship with the series protagonist, Denji, during a rainy encounter at a phone booth.

While the series is known for its gritty violence and dark humor, this collaboration takes a surprisingly softer approach with a “Spring Colors” theme.

The event aims to provide a “blooming” atmosphere where fans can enjoy the world of the anime surrounded by floral motifs.

Located in Ikebukuro, a district often cited as a holy land for anime and manga culture, the hotel aims to be a landmark for “Oshi-katsu” (activities supporting one’s favorite character).

Similar events have also been announced by other hotel’s across Tokyo, with the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu recently revealing two new My Hero Academia themed rooms.

Sunshine City Prince Hotel’s Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc hotel event is divided into two main components: the “Concept Room Stay Plan” and the “Collaboration Restaurant.”

Concept Room Stay Plan

The accommodation plan offers two distinct room types: the “Public Safety Room,” representing the demon hunters, and the “Denji & Reze Room,” focusing on the film’s central duo.

Both rooms are decorated with a spring flower aesthetic that contrasts interestingly with the usual blood-soaked imagery of the franchise.
