New Chainsaw Man promo shows Reze dancing to Kenshi Yonezu’s IRIS OUT
The official social media accounts for hitmaker Kenshi Yonezu have released a mesmerizing new animated video featuring the character Reze from the theatrical film Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc.
The Reze Arc movie adapts a fan-favorite storyline from the original manga, focusing on the explosive romance and conflict between the protagonist Denji and Reze.
This special clip features Reze performing an original dance to the film’s theme song, “IRIS OUT,” which is written and performed by Yonezu himself.
The animation was produced by MAPPA, the studio responsible for the critically acclaimed anime adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s dark fantasy manga.
The short video showcases high-quality animation where Reze’s movements perfectly sync with the track, capturing her alluring yet dangerous personality.
The choreography includes specific nods to the character’s abilities and the song’s marketing materials.
Reze is seen performing her signature activation trigger, pulling the safety pin on her choker while mouthing her catchphrase “Boom!”, a gesture that instantly transforms her into the Bomb Devil in the series.
The dance also incorporates a pose that mirrors the cover illustration of the “IRIS OUT” single, which was also drawn by Yonezu, known for being a talented illustrator in addition to a musician.
This collaboration marks a significant reunion between the Chainsaw Man franchise and Yonezu.
His opening track for the first season of the TV anime, “KICK BACK,” became a global viral sensation and the first Japanese language song to be certified Gold by the RIAA.
This new promotional video adds to a surge of excitement for the franchise this week.
Just recently, the apparel brand graniph announced a massive collaboration collection featuring items inspired by the series, including a specific T-shirt design dedicated to the Bomb Devil herself.
