New 30th anniversary Initial D Zippo lighter is limited to only 150 pieces worldwide

A new and highly limited-edition Zippo lighter has been announced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary racing manga, Initial D.
The “Initial D 30th Anniversary Special Edition Zippo” has been created by vehicle-themed accessory brand CAMSHOP, which has previously released other Initial D-themed items, such as an AE86-shaped tissue case holder.

Initial D, created by Shuichi Shigeno, first began its serialization in 1995.

The story of the young tofu delivery driver Takumi Fujiwara and his AE86 Sprinter Trueno as they battle on the mountain passes of Gunma has become a globally beloved and influential classic.

This new, commemorative Zippo is a highly exclusive collector’s item and production is strictly limited to only 150 pieces worldwide.

Each of the lighters is individually engraved with a unique serial number.

The body of the lighter has a sophisticated, gunmetal gray finish, which can appear either black or silver depending on the angle of the light.

The front of the lighter is decorated with a detailed, laser-engraved illustration that depicts the protagonist Takumi Fujiwara in a battle scene from the manga.

This premium item offers fans a high-end and extremely rare collectible to celebrate the long history of the iconic series.

The “Initial D 30th Anniversary Special Edition Zippo” is priced at ¥16,500 (approx. $112 USD/£83 GBP).

Pre-orders for the highly limited-edition lighter are currently open on the official CAMSHOP.JP website, and will close once the 150-piece limit has been reached.
