Nagi No Koi Arrives on PS4 and Switch This April

Publisher Entergram and developer Nutrients announced that the Japanese visual novel Nagi no Koi will launch for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on April 23, 2026.

The upcoming console release will be available digitally for 2,700 yen and includes support for both English and Japanese language options.

While the original PC version debuted in Japan on August 20, 2021, and saw a localized Steam release on January 14, 2025, these new versions offer several enhancements.

In contrast to the Steam edition which only featured voice-overs for the four lead female characters, the console ports provide a fully voiced experience by adding lines for male and minor female roles.

Players can also expect a revamped user interface designed specifically for the console hardware.

Nagi no Koi presents an emotionally intense narrative where two stories intersect, allowing players to make impactful choices based on their feelings.

The game follows a traditional Japanese narrative structure divided into two parts, with the first part containing chapters focused on characters like Masahide and Suirin.

The Chapter of the Red Spider Lily follows Masahide as he enters a political marriage with a girl named Sahana, while the Chapter of the Water Lily centers on a man named Kai who is saved by Suirin.

The voice cast includes Tanemaki as Suirin, Yurara as Sahana, Sasorihime as Shenhua, and Sakura as Aoi.

Potential players should note that the title contains mature content including depictions of violence, gore, and references to sexual acts.
