My Melody and Kuromi watches go on sale at special event in Tokyo
Japanese watch brand Angel Heart marked its 20th anniversary with a delightful collaboration with two of Sanrio’s most popular characters.
To celebrate this milestone, Angel Heart teamed up with Sanrio’s beloved My Melody (celebrating its 50th anniversary) and mischievous Kuromi (also celebrating its 20th anniversary) to release two limited-edition commemorative watches, which are on display and available to purchase at a special event currently taking place in Tokyo.
Launched in April 2004, Angel Heart’s concept is “Beside Your Beginnings.” The brand aims to be the perfect first watch for women celebrating significant milestones in their lives, such as entering higher education, starting a new job, or simply the beginning of a new day.
Angel Heart offers a wide range of models, including solar-powered watches that reduce the need for battery replacements, and designs that can be enjoyed as fashion accessories.
The brand prioritizes readability with clearly marked dials and focuses on sophisticated designs with attention to detail, such as crystal placement, color choices, glass cutting, and crown shapes.
Since its inception, Angel Heart has developed approximately 300 different products and is available in around 1,300 stores across Japan and Asia.
The special collaboration My Melody and Kuromi timepieces are now available to purchase at a special “Sanrio characters Special Anniversary Market” currently being held at Ginza Mitsukoshi.

Both models feature a distinctive quilted-style finish on the watch face, adding a tactile and visually appealing element.
The watch crystal is subtly printed with a one-tone design of either My Melody or Kuromi’s face, offering a touch of character that remains sophisticated enough for adult wear.
The case back of each watch is engraved with the respective character’s face, further emphasizing the special nature of this anniversary collaboration.
Instead of a standard watch box, each collaborative timepiece comes with a corresponding fluffy vanity pouch.
The My Melody watch includes a pink pouch adorned with quilted embroidery and pearl beads, while the Kuromi watch comes with a purple version featuring the same charming details.
