My Dearest Direst Disaster Heading to PC With New Content

Water Phoenix has announced the upcoming release of the visual novel My Dearest Direst Disaster for PC via Steam.

To support this transition, the developer launched a crowdfunding campaign on the Japanese platform Campfire on April 9, 2026, with a funding goal of one million yen.

Players can expect the Steam release to include updated visual assets, as the developer is revising all character portraits and event stills.

This new PC edition will include five exclusive post-game scenarios, with each segment offering between 40 and 80 minutes of additional gameplay.

These story chapters were part of the initial creative vision but faced removal from earlier versions due to strict production deadlines and financial constraints.

Water Phoenix currently maintains that these content updates and graphical enhancements will remain exclusive to the PC version.
