Momotaro Dentetsu 2 Surpasses One Million Sales Across Japan

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced that total shipments and digital sales for Momotaro Dentetsu 2: Anata no Machi mo Kitto Aru – Higashi Nihon Hen + Nishi Nihon Hen have officially surpassed one million units.

Series creator Akira Sakuma confirmed the significant sales milestone for the digital and physical hybrid title on March 20, 2026.

The board game and party experience originally launched for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles on November 13, 2025, in the Japanese market.

Data provided by the latest Famitsu sales reports indicates that the physical edition alone has accounted for at least 595,247 units sold to date.

This performance continues a strong trend for the franchise following the success of Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru!, which reached 1.5 million units sold roughly one year after its debut.

The series also saw massive success with Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban!, a title that exceeded four million units in shipments and sales within three years of its release.

The current success of the newest entry highlights the enduring popularity of the digital board game series among fans of the genre.
