Mendel Palace, Pac-Man, And The Tower Of Druaga Join NES Classics

Nintendo announced on April 8, 2026, that three classic titles have been added to the Nintendo Entertainment System Nintendo Switch Online library.
The new additions to the catalog include Mendel Palace, PAC-MAN, and The Tower of Druaga.
Mendel Palace is an action puzzle game that originally launched in 1989 and was the debut title for Game Freak, the studio that later created the Pokemon series.
PAC-MAN remains one of the most iconic arcade games in history, originally released by Namco in 1980 and later ported to the NES.
The Tower of Druaga is a classic fantasy action role playing game from 1984 that tasks players with navigating a multi-floored maze to rescue a captive maiden.
These titles are now available as part of the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service, which provides access to a growing library of retro games from various legacy consoles.
Nintendo released a new trailer on April 8, 2026, to showcase the gameplay for these April updates in both English and Japanese formats.
