Limited Edition Monster Hunter Wilds Music Box Unveiled by Capcom

Capcom’s Monster Hunter franchise has partnered with Imperial Enterprise to create a stunning traditional craft piece for fans of the latest game.
The “Monster Hunter Wilds Aizu Lacquerware Music Box” seamlessly blends high-end Japanese artistry with iconic gaming motifs.

Monster Hunter is a globally celebrated action RPG series by Capcom where players track and hunt massive beasts across diverse and dangerous ecosystems.
The most recent entry in the series takes players into the Forbidden Lands, introducing new mechanics, dynamic weather systems, and a rich narrative.

The game emphasizes the harsh realities of nature, forcing players to adapt to ever-changing environments while utilizing new mounts and specialized gear.
Aizu lacquerware is a traditional craft from Fukushima Prefecture, celebrated for its durability and beautiful, intricate decoration techniques.

The maki-e technique utilized here involves sprinkling fine gold powder onto wet lacquer to create luxurious, textured designs that catch the light beautifully.
By combining this centuries-old art form with modern pop culture, the creators have crafted a truly unique and luxurious collectible.
The music box features stunning gold maki-e lacquer work illustrating Rathalos and Rathian, the legendary flying wyverns that serve as the recognizable faces of the franchise.

Opening the lid reveals a carefully crafted interior showcasing the official emblem and frame of the Forbidden Lands Research Commission.

At the heart of the wooden box is a specialized 23-valve mechanical movement assembled by master artisans.
This intricate mechanism plays a specially arranged version of “Proof of a Hero,” the triumphant main theme song that has accompanied hunters since the very first game.

The entire piece is housed in a premium storage box featuring a foil-stamped logo to ensure safekeeping.
Buyers will also receive a guarantee card stamped with a specific edition number to verify its authenticity and rarity.

Only 1,000 units of this exclusive music box will be produced for the global market.

The price for this exquisite craft piece is set at 64,800 yen (approx. $432 USD / £343 GBP).

Sales officially launched on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
