Limited-edition Jujutsu Kaisen summer kimono collection released in Japan

Popular retro-modern kimono brand Furifu has announced an exciting collaboration with the smash-hit anime series “Jujutsu Kaisen”.
This highly anticipated collaboration brings together Furifu’s unique blend of traditional aesthetics with contemporary design and the world of Jujutsu sorcerers and cursed spirits.
Launching ahead of the summer festival season, fans will now have the opportunity to express their love for the series in a stylish and culturally relevant way.
The initial lineup features yukata, a type of summer kimono, and obi (waist sash) sets inspired by four key characters – Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto.
Let’s take a look at each of the yukata available in the new “Jujutsu Kaisen x Furifu” collaboration!
- Yuji Itadori:

This design bursts with energetic arrow feather patterns, symbolizing Yuji’s forward-moving spirit.
The accompanying deep orange heko obi (soft sash) creates a vibrant contrast and the color is reminiscent of Yuji’s hood.
- Megumi Fushiguro:

A more subdued yet intricate design harmonizes three traditional patterns: stripes, Mujina chrysanthemum, and the “Rin-chigai” (interlocking rings).
Keen-eyed fans will also spot subtle hidden motifs of his shikigami: Divine Dogs, Nue, and Rabbit Escape.
- Satoru Gojo

This refreshing yukata features elegant peony flowers and white outlined diamond patterns, evoking Gojo’s limitless potential during his high school days in the “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” arc.
- Suguru Geto

A mysterious and profound design showcasing swirling gold lines on an ink-wash-like background, reminiscent of darkness coalescing. Black camellias represent Geto’s unwavering convictions during the “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” arc.
Adding to the appeal, each design will be available in both men’s and women’s sizes (M/L), allowing friends and couples to enjoy coordinating outfits and showcase their fandom together.
The “Jujutsu Kaisen x Furifu” yukata collection will be available from the 20th of May, 2025, from the following retail locations:
