LEGO to hold Botanical Collection festival in Tokyo this summer
A large-scale event titled “LEGO Festival Botanical Garden in Marunouchi 2025” is set to begin in the Marunouchi district of Tokyo.
The festival, co-hosted by Mitsubishi Estate and LEGO Japan, builds upon the success of a previous event that drew over 300,000 visitors.
This year’s event has been expanded and is themed around the popular “LEGO Botanical Collection,” a line of sets from the “LEGO for Adults” series.
The main venue, located in the Marunouchi Building’s Marucube event space, will feature a “LEGO Botanical Wall,” a large and colorful photo spot made from various flower and plant sets.
This venue will also host a free “LEGO Botanical Workshop” for adults, where participants can build a rose from the “LEGO Bouquet of Roses” set.
A temporary LEGO Pop-Up Store will also be open, selling a wide range of products including the Botanical Collection.
For younger visitors, a separate “Let’s Make a Flower Field!” workshop will be held on select weekends, where children aged five and up can build a “LEGO Friendship Flower” mini-set.
A unique feature of this year’s festival is a home decor exhibition in the Shin-Marunouchi Building.
This display is a collaboration with four high-end interior design stores; Actus, DÉL’I’ÉE IDÉE, unico, and The Conran Shop, which will showcase interior coordination vignettes that creatively integrate LEGO Botanical sets with their own furniture and home goods.
Several other activities and promotions will be held across the wider Marunouchi area.
A stamp rally will guide visitors to seven different locations, each featuring a life-sized LEGO 3D figure that serves as a photo spot.
Participants who collect all the stamps will receive a free LEGO minifigure sun visor.
Various other campaigns will also be running, including a promotion where customers at local restaurants can receive an original sticker, and an Instagram photo contest for a chance to win LEGO products.
The “LEGO Festival Botanical Garden in Marunouchi 2025” is scheduled to begin on Friday, the 1st of August, 2025, and will run until Sunday, the 24th of August, 2025.
