Kotobukiya announces re-release of popular statue of Tales of Berseria’s Velvet Crowe

Kotobukiya has opened pre-orders for a re-release of its popular, 1/8 scale figure of the character Velvet Crowe from the role-playing game, Tales of Berseria.
This new production run of the sought-after statue, which was originally released in March 2017, is being held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the long-running Tales of JRPG series.

Velvet Crowe is the protagonist of Tales of Berseria, and she holds the distinction of being the first-ever solo female protagonist in the history of the mainline series.

Her story is a dark and intense tale of revenge, and she is a fan-favorite “dark hero.”

This 1/8 scale, non-articulated figure is designed to be a faithful recreation of the character’s original design by the legendary and beloved artist, the late Mutsumi Inomata.

The sculpt captures Velvet in a dynamic pose, with her coat flowing behind her as she calmly readies her blade, her expression showing the intense, burning-hot determination that defines her character.

This re-release offers fans of the series a new opportunity to own a high-quality, definitive statue of one of its most popular and iconic modern heroes.

The “Velvet Crowe” 1/8 scale figure by Kotobukiya is priced at ¥15,400 (approx. $105 USD/£77 GBP).

Pre-orders for this re-release are currently open on the Kotobukiya online shop and at other retailers, and the figure is scheduled to be released in June 2026.
