Good Smile Company has provided the first look at the painted prototype of their upcoming POP UP PARADE Kasane Teto L Size figure.

The reveal came as part of their “Smile Fest 2025” event, which saw fans get a first look at a wide range of figures from popular culture, anime and gaming.

Good Smile Company’s POP UP PARADE figure line is known for its accessibility, offering high-quality, fixed-pose figures at affordable prices.

These figures typically stand around 17-18cm tall, with the “L Size” indicating a larger scale than the standard POP UP PARADE releases.

The line aims to provide collectors with well-detailed representations of their favorite characters without the higher price point or complexity of scale figures.

Kasane Teto is a popular character associated with UTAU, a freeware singing synthesizer application developed by Ameya.

Unlike Hatsune Miku and other Vocaloids, UTAU allows users to create voicebanks from recorded samples, making it an open-source alternative for music production.

Teto, originally created as an April Fools’ joke by 2channel users, quickly gained a dedicated following due to her unique voice, distinctive drill-like twin-tails, and energetic persona.

Her design has made her a recognizable figure in the “UTAUloid” community and broader fan culture.
