Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME’s new 5-star Gen Narumi may be the best character yet
A new, 5-star playable character has been announced for the mobile and PC game, Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME.
The new unit is “[Future Sight] Gen Narumi,” a new version of the popular character who is depicted wielding the “Numbers Weapon 1.”
This new 5-star version of Gen Narumi is a powerful support-oriented character.
His special ability allows him to apply an “Seen Through” state to an enemy before unleashing his ultimate move.
When an ally hits this marked enemy five times, three of the enemy’s Plates are randomly destroyed.
He also grants a damage buff to any ally who attacks the marked enemy, effectively boosting the entire team’s firepower.
A new, corresponding 5-star weapon, the “GS-Oyamatsumi” (Gunsword), will also be released as part of the new pickup gacha.
A new character promotional video has also been released, which showcases his new abilities in action.
To coincide with the new character, a new character story titled “The Eye That Sees the Future” has also been released.
This story follows Narumi as he trains for the decisive battle against Kaiju No. 9.
He confronts the records of Kaiju No. 1 in the archives and, following a chance encounter with Itami, finds a new resolve to surpass his limits.
To celebrate the new character’s implementation, a special login bonus is now active.
Players who log in during the event period can receive up to five “THE GAME Gacha Tickets” and five “Pickup Gacha Tickets.”
Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME is a free-to-play RPG available on the App Store and Google Play, with a PC version also available via Steam.
