Junji Ito teams up with Hobonichi for new “Tomie” stationery line

Popular Japanese planner and stationery brand Hobonichi has announced its first-ever collaboration with the legendary horror manga artist, Junji Ito.
The new collection features a line of planner covers and accessories decorated with artwork from Ito’s debut and most famous work, the manga series Tomie.

Hobonichi Techo is a best-selling line of daily planners that has cultivated a massive international following for its high-quality paper, minimalist design, and highly customizable format.
Tomie, which first debuted in 1987, is a cornerstone of the Japanese horror genre, telling the story of a supernaturally beautiful and malevolent girl who can regenerate from any injury and drives her admirers to madness and murder.

This new collaboration brings the unique and unsettling world of the manga to a range of Hobonichi’s products for its 2026 lineup.

The collection features three different planner covers, one weekly planner, and a line of horror-themed stationery.
The full lineup of new items will include:
Planners
- Planner Cover “Tomie Smirk” (for A6 Original/Planner)

- Planner Cover “Tomie Memory” (for A5 Cousin)

- Weeks Planner “Tomie Haunting Beauty”

Stationery
- Hobonichi Pencil Board (Available for Original, Cousin, and Weeks sizes)
