Japan's Pokémon Cafe to offer exclusive figure set for fans booking a table

Pokémon Cafe has announced an exclusive new figure set that can only be obtained by making a booking at the cafe.

The Pokémon Cafe is a major attraction for fans of the Pokémon franchise, offering a unique immersive dining experience with themed food, drinks, and exclusive merchandise.

These cafes often introduce limited-time menu items and special giveaways to coincide with new game releases, anime seasons, or character celebrations.

Now, visitors reserving seats at the Pokémon Cafes in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, and Shinsaibashi, Osaka, will have the option to purchase the “PUTITTO Pokémon Collection Pokémon Cafe” mini figure set.

The “PUTITTO” series is a range of mini figures designed to perch on the edge of cups or glasses. They are typically sold in blind boxes or in gashapon machines.

The “PUTITTO Pokémon Collection Pokémon Cafe” set includes three cute mini figures:

Pastry Chef Pikachu

This figure features the iconic Electric-type Pokémon, Pikachu, in an adorable black chef’s coat, complete with a chef’s hat.

Gengar

The mischievous Ghost/Poison-type Pokémon, Gengar, is dressed as a Pokémon Café staff member and serving a latte in the cafe’s iconic Pokéball cup.

Snorlax

The large, sleepy Normal-type Pokémon, Snorlax, completes the trio and is also depicted as a member of the Pokémon Café staff although Snorlax is eating food rather than serving it.

The Pikachu and Gengar figures in the set are designed with the “PUTITTO” characteristic, allowing them to be hung on the rim of a glass or cup.

Due to its size, the Snorlax figure can only be displayed on a flat surface.

The “PUTITTO Pokémon Collection Pokémon Cafe” set will be available for 2,200 yen (approx. $15.26 USD / £11.24 GBP).

Customers wishing to purchase this exclusive bonus must do so when reserving their seats for dates from July 19th onwards.

The option to order these figures will be available on the Pokémon Cafe reservation page starting from June 18th, 2025, at 6:00 PM JST.

They will be able to order when placing a reservation only, while stocks last.

For a limited time this year, when you arrive for your reservation at the Pokémon Cafe, you will also be able to enjoy new Mega Evolution themed dishes including the “Charizard’s Flame Blast Curry Plate” and a new AR experience.
