Japan Arcade Exclusive Daemon Bride: Additional Gain Receives Global Release on PC

Team ARCANA has officially launched the cult-classic 2D fighting game Daemon Bride: Additional Gain on Steam.
This highly anticipated release marks the first-ever port of the game to a home platform, finally bringing the title to a global audience after a lengthy period of exclusivity in Japanese arcades.

Daemon Bride: Additional Gain is an updated version of the original fighting game, which first appeared in arcades in 2009.
The game is known for its high-speed, deep combat system that incorporates flashy projectiles and powerful special moves, reflecting the development lineage of Examu, the studio behind the Arcana Heart series.

The narrative pits 17 unique angels and demons against each other in sealed-off Tokyo, where players take on the role of “contract holders” in a brutal, occult-themed urban fantasy.
The PC version arrives with several key enhancements crucial for modern fighting game competition.

Most notably, the Steam port implements rollback netcode to ensure smooth, responsive online battles and minimize lag, a vital feature for international competitive play.
In addition to the enhanced netplay, the formidable former boss character, Dies Irae Deus, joins the full roster as a competitive play-only playable fighter, rounding out the total character count to 17.

Visuals have also been upgraded, offering native 16:9 widescreen support alongside the original 4:3 screen ratio for purists, and custom upscaling for high-resolution displays.
For new and experienced players alike, the port includes a dedicated Training mode and features the in-game guidebook “Primer of Duel.”

The game supports English and Japanese language options.
The digital version is priced at 2,980 yen in Japan, $19.99 in the USA and £16.75 in the UK.
A special introductory promotion will also offer new players a 10 percent discount until January 14, 2026.
