Is Paimon sus? Among Us and Genshin Impact crossover announced
A new collaboration has been announced between two of the most popular online games in the world, the social deduction game Among Us and the open-world RPG Genshin Impact.
The new partnership is a limited-time, in-game event that will allow players of Among Us to dress up their Crewmate character as Paimon, the famous floating companion from Genshin Impact.
The collaboration is being held to celebrate the launch of “Version Luna I” of Genshin Impact, the latest major update for the hit game from the developer HoYoverse.
The event will give all Among Us players a set of three different, Paimon-themed cosmetic items completely for free.
The three items are:
- A Paimon Wig
- A Paimon Costume
- A “Crest of the Best Travel Companion” Nameplate
The in-game announcement for the new items humorously references the popular “Paimon is emergency food” meme from the Genshin Impact community, warning players to “be careful around hungry Impostors or you’ll wind up as emergency food.”
The items are being offered for a limited time only and will be available to any player who logs into the game during the campaign period.
This crossover brings together two massive global gaming communities in a fun and lighthearted way.
The free cosmetic items will be available to all Among us players who log in between Wednesday, the 10th of September, and Friday, the 10th of October, 2025.
