Ichibe Hyosube revealed as Bleach: Rebirth of Souls next DLC character
The next downloadable content character for the anime action game Bleach: Rebirth of Souls has been officially announced as Ichibe Hyosube.
The announcement was made by the publisher Bandai Namco and the developer Tamsoft.
Ichibe Hyosube is a major character from the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War arc.
He is a powerful Shinigami and the commander of the Soul King’s Royal Guard, also known as Squad Zero.
His character trailer showcases him in action, wielding his unique, calligraphy-brush-shaped Zanpakuto, Ichimonji.
The footage also shows him using his powerful Shikai ability, Kuromeyo, and his Senri Tsutensho technique.
Ichibe is the third character to be released as part of the game’s Season Pass, which is available for $24.99 and focuses exclusively on characters from the Thousand-Year Blood War arc.
The previous two DLC characters were a new version of Ichigo Kurosaki and a spoiler-filled version of Retsu Unohana.
The new DLC character will have a phased release.
Owners of the Season Pass will get early access to Ichibe Hyosube starting on Tuesday, the 21st of October.
He will then be available for individual purchase for $7.99 starting one week later, on Tuesday, the 28th of October.
Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is available now for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
