Huge new figure of Gundam GQuuuuuuX’s “Red Gundam” launches this month

BANDAI SPIRITS will soon launch a new figure of Red Gundam from the currently airing hit anime series, Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
The figure will be the latest addition to the “Genkai Toppa” series of robot prize figures, which previously saw the release of a figure of Gundam Sieg Axe from the same series.

With a recently announced Gunpla kit of Red Gundam having recently launched in Japan, this new “Genkai Toppa”, or “Limit Breakthrough”, figure offers fans another chance to add this particular mobile suit to their collection.

The “Genkai Toppa” series is a relatively new line from Banpresto, a brand within BANDAI SPIRITS known for its high-quality prize figures, and aims to push the boundaries of what is expected from robot figures offered as crane game prizes.

The series focuses on delivering impressively sized figures with significant visual impact.

The new Red Gundam figure stands at an impressive height of approximately 28 centimeters, which appears to be the standard size for figures in the “Genkai Toppa” range based on previous releases.

Despite its significant size, BANDAI SPIRITS emphasizes that the “Genkai Toppa” figure line maintains a commitment to producing detailed and accurate depictions the mechs featured.

Banpresto is set to release the new “Genkai Toppa Red Gundam” figure from June 10th, 2025, when it will become available in most arcades/amusement centers across Japan.

International fans should be able to pick up the figure from most reputable hobby goods around August 2025, as BANDAI’s international distribution network typically sees figures released 1-2 months after the initial Japanese arcade release.
