Huge new figure of Fatal Fury’s Mai Shiranui recreates her classic look

A new, large-scale figure of the iconic fighting game character Mai Shiranui has been announced by the manufacturer FREEing.
The new product is a 1/4 scale, non-articulated statue based on her appearance in the game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

While Mai Shiranui sports a new main costume in the game, this new figure is a tribute to her classic, fan-favorite red and white kunoichi attire.

This iconic look makes its return in City of the Wolves during her “Hidden Gear” special attack, “Ōran no Mai: Akasuzumi.”

The figure’s dynamic pose is a direct, three-dimensional recreation of the exact moment after this powerful attack lands, as she begins her assault on her opponent.

FREEing is a company well-known for its line of premium, large-format 1/4 scale figures of popular characters.

This new release continues that tradition, with the pre-painted, complete figure standing at an approximate height of 40 centimeters.

The statue is designed with a high level of detail in the sculpting of her classic outfit and her determined facial expression.

This new figure offers a high-end, large-format collectible for long-time fans of the character, released to celebrate her return in the highly anticipated new game.

The “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves – Mai Shiranui – Ōran no Mai, Suzaku” figure is priced at ¥39,600 (approx. $270 USD/£199 GBP) and it is scheduled to be released in June 2026.

Pre-orders are now open via the majority of reputable hobby goods retailers.
