Sanrio has launched a new collection of travel-themed goods, timed perfectly for the summer vacation season.
Sanrio is a global company famous for creating a vast universe of characters, including the world-renowned Hello Kitty, and translating them into a wide array of lifestyle and merchandise products.
This is not the first time that Sanrio has released travel accessories to add to fan’s collections, a small anniversary themed collection was released earlier in the year to commemorate both My Melody and Kuromi.
This new collection focuses on practical items for travelers, designed to combine functionality with the company’s signature cute aesthetic.
The lineup features hard-shell carry-on suitcases with special embossed designs of the characters, creating a three-dimensional effect on the luggage.
These are available in a larger 59-liter size, as well as a smaller, 29-liter carry-on size that comes in four different character variations.
To help with organization, the collection also includes two-piece travel pouch sets.
These sets are designed to help travelers conveniently sort and store their belongings inside their luggage.
A series of luggage tags featuring characters like Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Cinnamoroll are also part of the lineup, allowing travelers to easily identify their bags.

These luggage tags come with a name card that you can insert your name and contact information into.
- Carry-on Suitcase (59L)
- Price: ¥23,100
A carry-on size suitcase with 4 wheels that can move 360°, making it easy to move around.
- Carry-on Suitcase (29L, 4 varieties)
- Price: ¥19,800
The smaller carry-on size cases also include 360° wheel movement and the inner divider has a mesh pocket, whilst the carry bar can be adjusted to 3 levels.
The new travel goods are available for purchase across Japan at official Sanrio stores, Sanrio sections within department stores, and through the official Sanrio online shop.
