Hatsune Miku and Persona 5 team up for limited-time Project Sekai collab

A new in-game “tie-up” event has been announced for the popular mobile rhythm game, Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE! feat. Hatsune Miku, which will be a collaboration with the Atlus RPG, Persona 5 Royal.
The announcement was made during an official livestream broadcast held on Monday, the 28th of July, 2025.

Project SEKAI is known for its frequent collaborations, which often see the game incorporate music and cosmetic items from other popular media franchises.

Persona 5 Royal is a globally popular and critically acclaimed role-playing game, celebrated for its stylish “Phantom Thief” aesthetic and its acid-jazz and funk-inspired soundtrack.
The new event will bring one of the game’s most iconic songs, “Life Will Change,” into Project SEKAI as a playable track.

The song will be available in a “Virtual Singer version,” performed by characters like Hatsune Miku.
In addition to the new music, a special in-game gacha will be held, offering players the chance to acquire limited-edition costumes.
These new outfits are designed to allow the Project SEKAI characters to dress up in the signature style of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5 Royal.

The tie-up will also include other in-game items, such as custom profile materials and a special stamp mission for players to complete.
During the same broadcast, a separate, larger-scale collaboration event with Bandai’s “Tamagotchi” brand was also announced.

That event, scheduled for late September, will feature new character pairings, exclusive cards, and in-game furniture.
The Persona 5 Royal tie-up event is scheduled to begin first, launching next week on Monday, the 4th of August, 2025.
