Gundam Wing’s Official PC Case Collab Returns with Affordable New Release
Image by Charlotte DavisHYTE has brought back its popular Gundam Wing collaboration with a more affordable version of its themed Y70 PC case, while also restocking the matching accessories released as part of the original collection.
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing debuted in Japan in 1995 and became one of the franchise’s most internationally recognizable series, with its arrival on Cartoon Network’s Toonami in 2000 helping introduce an entire generation of US viewers to Gundam.
The anime follows five young Gundam pilots sent to Earth as part of Operation Meteor, with Heero Yuy and the Wing Gundam Zero becoming particularly recognizable symbols of the series.
HYTE originally unveiled its Gundam Wing Y70 Touch Infinite at Anime Expo 2025, combining the company’s panoramic PC case with an integrated 14.9-inch touchscreen and extensive artwork celebrating the anime’s 30th anniversary.
Following requests from fans for a less expensive option, the collaboration has now returned as the HYTE Gundam Wing Y70, which removes the touchscreen and replaces it with a clear glass panel that provides an unobstructed view of the components inside.
The Gundam Wing Y70, priced at $299.99 (approx. $300 USD / £222 GBP), retains the distinctive white, red and yellow colors of Wing Gundam Zero, with symbols, icons and hidden references from the anime worked into the surrounding trim.
Underneath the Gundam makeover is HYTE’s familiar Y70 design, retaining its spacious interior, substantial cooling capacity and support for graphics cards occupying up to four slots while emphasizing the hardware through its extensive glass panels.
Removing the display also significantly lowers the cost compared with the touchscreen edition without abandoning the visual details that made the original Gundam Wing case stand out, making the new version a more accessible starting point for a themed PC build.
HYTE has also restocked the Gundam Wing Keycap Set, priced at $119.99 (approx. $120 USD / £89 GBP), which carries the collaboration’s white, blue, red and yellow coloring across a coordinated keyboard design inspired by the anime.
The Gundam Wing Desk Pad, priced at $29.99 (approx. $30 USD / £22 GBP), returns with battle artwork designed to extend the theme across a complete desktop setup.
The Gundam Wing Wall Scroll, priced at $34.99 (approx. $35 USD / £26 GBP), completes the returning collection with artwork featuring characters and Mobile Suits from the series, providing a matching backdrop for fans building a dedicated Gundam gaming space.
The revived HYTE x Gundam Wing collection is available now through HYTE for customers in North, Central and South America, Europe and selected Asia-Pacific markets.
