Gundam Wing gets a new American vintage inspired T-shirt collection
The official Gundam-themed apparel brand STRICT-G has announced a new mini-collection of T-shirts based on the classic anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and its sequel, Endless Waltz.
The new products are from the “STRICT-G.Fab” sub-brand, which proposes a rugged, vintage-inspired “American casual” style based on the world of the Gundam franchise.
This new collection features three different T-shirts with a “used style” aesthetic, designed to look and feel like a well-worn, vintage T-shirt.
The shirts are made from a heavyweight, 6.0-ounce fabric with the characteristic crispness of open-end yarn, and are treated with a special wash process to create a faded, worn-in texture.
The graphics on the shirts are also applied with a faded-style print to complete the vintage look.
The collection features three different designs, each showcasing an iconic mobile suit from the series.
The full lineup is as follows:
- Wing Gundam Zero (from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing)
- Gundam Deathscythe Hell (from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing)
- Wing Gundam Zero (EW version) (from Endless Waltz)
Each of the three different T-shirt designs is priced at ¥6,380 (approx. $43 USD/£32 GBP).
An advance pre-order period for all the T-shirts began on Friday, the 29th of August, at 1:00 PM Japan Standard Time on the “STRICT-G Online Store” within the Premium Bandai website.
This pre-order window will run until the 14th of September, with the shirts scheduled to ship in the same month.
A general in-store release has also been announced.
The collection will be available for purchase at the four physical STRICT-G retail locations from Saturday, the 30th of August, 2025.
The stores are located at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba, Tokyo Solamachi, the NEOPASA Shizuoka Expressway service area, and the Taga Expressway service area.
