Gundam SEED’s Exclusive MG Perfect Strike Gundam Gunpla Kit Gets Rare Online Release for Gundam Summer Fest 2026

One of The Gundam Base’s normally exclusive Master Grade releases has made a rare move online, with the MG 1/100 The Gundam Base Limited Perfect Strike Gundam Grand Slam Equipped Type now available to pre-order through Premium Bandai US.
The temporary availability comes as part of Gundam Summer Fest 2026, which has brought a large selection of Gundam Base limited Gunpla to the Premium Bandai US store for collectors who would normally need to visit an official Gundam Base location or pop-up event to purchase them.

Based on the Strike Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, this substantial Master Grade release packages the Mobile Suit together with its Aile, Sword, and Launcher Striker equipment, allowing several of its best-known configurations to be recreated from a single kit.

Builders can display it as the Aile Strike Gundam, Sword Strike Gundam, Launcher Strike Gundam, or combine the equipment to create the heavily armed Perfect Strike Gundam, making this one of the more versatile MG versions of the Strike.

The centerpiece of this Gundam Base edition is the enormous Grand Slam anti-ship sword, which gives the Strike another imposing weapon option alongside the equipment already supplied with the three Striker Packs.

The Sword Striker brings its large Schwert Gewehr anti-ship sword and accompanying beam effects, while the Launcher Striker adds the oversized Agni cannon and the Aile Striker provides the familiar flight pack that forms the centerpiece of the Perfect Strike configuration.

Additional equipment includes the Strike Gundam’s beam rifle, shield and pair of Armor Schneider combat knives, giving the finished model plenty of options even when the larger Striker equipment is removed.

Dedicated markings are also included to add further detail to the completed model, while the overall combination of three Striker Packs and the Grand Slam makes the kit particularly appealing for collectors who want to display several different versions of the Strike without purchasing separate releases.

A dedicated display base styled after a launch catapult rounds out the package and provides an appropriate way to display the heavily equipped Perfect Strike once everything is assembled.

Pre-orders for the MG 1/100 The Gundam Base Limited Perfect Strike Gundam Grand Slam Equipped Type, priced at $102, are now open via Premium Bandai US, but builders looking to add the kit to their collection will need to act fast, as orders close at 2:59 AM EDT on August 24 to coincide with the end of Gundam Summer Fest 2026, unless available stock sells out earlier.
Shipping for the kit is currently scheduled for September 2026.
